Rod Skoe (born August 9, 1954) is a Minnesota politician and a member of the Minnesota Senate representing District 2, which includes all or portions of Becker, Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard, Mahnomen, Norman, Pennington and Polk counties in the northwestern part of the state. A Democrat, he was first elected in 2002, and was re-elected in 2006 and 2010. Prior to that, he served in the Minnesota House of Representatives representing District 2B from 1999 to 2003.[1]

Skoe is a member of the Senate's Agriculture and Rural Economies, Higher Education, and Taxes committees.[2]

Skoe completed high school at Kelliher High School in Kelliher, and later received a B.A. from Augsburg College in Minneapolis. He and his wife, Sarah, have two children.[1]
